Fallout 4 sanctuary settlers
Sturges will task the Sole Survivor with crafting five beds. The beds can be crafted anywhere in Sanctuary, using the workshop. After crafting the beds, the Sole Survivor can speak to Sturges again.
He will then task them with creating a water supply. Either a water purifier along with a suitable power generatoror two water pumps can be built. After building the water supply, speak to Sturges again. He will now task the Sole Survivor with ensuring there is a food supply.
Two melon plants can be found behind the house where the workbench is located. The plants can be harvested, and replanted, providing an additional two plants.
Assigning settlers to harvest these plants will progress this objective even further. One can collect the crops to the rear of the houses on the right-hand side of the road when approaching Concord or the Sole Survivor can head to a nearby settlement such as Tenpines Bluff or Abernathy farm to obtain additional crops to plant. Additionally, Connie Abernathy will also sell crops, if asked to trade.
Upon speaking to Sturges again, he tasks the Sole Survivor with crafting defenses.
Crafting both machinegun turrets and guard posts will fulfill this task. A settler must be assigned to the guard post in order to get defense points. Talking to Sturges one final time will end the quest.

So where are all my settlers? Like one settlement will say it has 18 settlers but there are only 8. Or another will say it has 9 but there are only 4.
What gives, I need those missing settlers. Last edited by Hazmatt ; 16 Nov, am.

Also I've noticed that if there are settlers on their way to a settlement, it will count them as part of the population total even before they actually arrive, so I'm wondering if that might be part of the incorrect count you see.
Yeah I tried the bell haha The thing is the numbers stay static, they don't change depending on the visit. In fact they have slowly grown, without any additional settlers actually showing up. Rufour View Profile View Posts.
Fallout 4: Build sheltered beds for Sanctuary settlers
Did you count how many beds are used? I am struggling with a "ghosty settler" since days Once i tried to reassign every single settler to a new bed by replacing the beds first and then assigning every single settler manually. After doin so i rang the bell and suddenly O But as soon as i got settler nr.
No matter where i search, i for sure have a ghost in my settlement. And recently, while upgrading my settlement it happened that i now got 14 settlers per displayed number, but only 12 showing up o. I've got 10 charisma but Sanctuary has been stuck at 11 settlers 13 if I count the two I put on supply runs for a long time now.
Whenever I send some one new to Sanctuary they just don't show up.

Is this a bug? Showing 1 - 13 of 13 comments. Do you have enough beds for everyone? I've been seriously wondering if the settler limit is on a settlement by settlement basis or if you're stuck at 20 for the whole map. Make sure you have at least 20 food, 20 water, 20 beds, 40 defense, 50 to be safe. Also double check your transmitter, and power supply.
After awhile settlers will show up with patience. It takes time to fill the ranks. Put a radio up at different settlemments, and go there periodically and send the new settlers there over to your main settlement.
Definitely beyond 20 but their rate of arrival seems screwy though. For a long time,I had 18 beds in sanctuary but the population was stuck at 8 for the most part. I had enough food and water too. After about 20 hours real life play time,I suddenly found that sanctaury had balloned into 17 settlers. When I fast travelled there, they were all lumped around one place, lol. I have 10 at tenpines so the limit is beyond 20 assuming if there is one. Last edited by Mentally Unstable ; 15 Nov, pm.
Wait does the settler limit go by Charisma?? I have 6 charisma and my Starlight Drive-In is capped at I can't even send other people over.

Is this why?? If you wear clothing with Carisma it increases your settler limit. D3st View Profile View Posts. Originally posted by Mambo Sauce :.Home Discussions Workshop Market Broadcasts. It says I have 12 but I can only seem to find 6 or so. Its not that big of a place, I checked all the houses.
Does anyone know if there is a way to find unassigned settlers? Showing 1 - 15 of 16 comments. Zourin View Profile View Posts. Originally posted by Zourin :. I have this issue too. Could try crafting those bells and ringing them, see if it makes them come to it. I also hope that Bethesda patches in an easier way to manage settlers, like having an side window when you move your cursor on them that tells you what they're assigned to do I.
Farmer, Guard Post, Scrap table, etc. Or they could rename them based on their job, like supply runners are changed to Provisioners when you send them on supply runs. Originally posted by VorrikKast :.

Provisoners may not show up 1 Companions may count indirectly, such as Preston, Dogmeat, and Codsworth 3 So that's Ah, youre right, its the provisioners. There wouldnt happen to be an easy way to track the down is there? If you hang out in the town for a while, they'll wander in. It also helps if you keep the supply lines as short as possible and following the roads as much as possible.
Fallout 4: Provide food for Sanctuary settlers
The more offroading your supply routes take, the more likely they are to run into trouble. If you use short supply routes, it's a lot easier tracking them down than if they were going clear across the map. I know this is old but im helping future people, for me I needed to add more chairs and then I started seeing them flood in from nowhere and sit down.
Not sure why you need them, but if it's to assign some of them jobs, try building the Vault-Tec Population Management terminal, or whatever it's called. Then you can use it to assign people to defense or scavenging or whatever without having to physically track them down.Have you read through our comprehensive Fallout 4 Workshop guide and found yourself a little stuck? Check out this guide for how to get more settlers in your settlement to find out.
First up, if you want more settlers in your town, such as Sanctuary, then you need to make sure you have the bases covered. Once you have that all covered, there are two main ways to get more settlers.
First up is just wandering around and talking to people. Many random NPCs will talk to you about their woes, and you can provide them with a solution: come to Sanctuary. I prefer having a centralized hub, so I usually have them head to Sanctuary, but you can spread them around, especially if you need settlers for supply lines. This item, which can be found within the Electricity section of the Workshop menu, will send out a signal informing would-be settlers of your location.
Once the beacon is built and hooked up to power just activate it and the signal should draw in a few new people. Once Sanctuary gets too crowded you can always repeat this process at one of your smaller settlements. Game Guides. The latest news in the world of video games at Attack of the Fanboy.
